Bio
Although I was born in Erie, PA  I have called Rochester, NY home  since October, 1997.

I joined WHAM 1180 & HOT TALK 1280 as Sports Director in September 2006 after serving six years as a morning personality on the "Brother Wease Show" from January 2000 until August 2006.

The reason I moved to Rochester was to serve as Sports Director and Weekday Anchor at FOX Rochester.  Where I worked from October '97 until March '03. I also served as the RNews Weekend Sports Anchor from ecember 2003 until June 2008.

During the 2003 NFL Season, I co-hosted the pre-game and post-game shows for the Buffalo Bills Football Radio Network. Tuesday nights, I hosted the Gregg Williams Show, a one-hour radio listener call-in show.

And in 2002, I  was the recipient of the Gary Smith Award for Broadcasting Excellence.  In 2007, I received the Sports Reporter of the Year Award from the American Legion.

My wife Debbie and I have been married since October 2002, and we welcomed our first daughter Gemma Rose on April 24, 2004.

My favorite sports are Football, Basketball and Baseball. My "sports hero" is  Brett Favre.  Without a doubt, Favre  is one of the top five best quarterbacks ever to play in the NFL.  I love his enthusiasm and passion for the game. And for the record I have never called in sick to work since I arrived in Rochester. My consecutive start streak is nine years and counting.

My coaching hero is Joe Paterno. I am little biased here since I went to Penn State. Can you name an individual that has meant more to a university than JOPA.  My biggest thrill was serving as an analyst for 1986 football season on WPSU, the campus radio station. That season the Nittany Lions won the national championship. My broadcasting parnter Stu Kelly and I drove to all the road games, trips that included Alabama, West Virginia and Notre Dame. I served as the play-by-play man during the 1987 season.

Oh by way, U2 is the best rock band in the world.

Top Foods
My wife's, mother's and mother-in-law's spaghetti sauce. I am very diplomatic including all three.  My mouth waters each time I think about it. Top pasta is ravioli. Second food is manwich, it goes with anything. TRUST ME!

Top Hobby
Playing basketball at Midtown Athletic club. I also enjoy doing landscaping work.

                                  Yaz Hospitalized

Baseball Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski was hospitalized for tests Tuesday after experiencing what his spokesman called chest pains.

The spokesman, Dick Gordon, said Yastrzemski went to Massachusetts General Hospital in the morning.

"He had experienced some chest pains and he's in for testing," Gordon said.

When asked if it was serious, Gordon said: "Any time you are in the hospital, it's got to be pretty serious."

The 68-year-old Yastrzemski was baseball's last player to win the Triple Crown in 1967 and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1989.

John DiTullio Show Recap Tuesday, August 19th: Roberts Wesleyan graduate Jen Stuczynski joined us from Beijing Olympics. Jenn won a silver medal in the pole vault, but made headlines with a comment leading up to the event that the United States needed to kick some "Russian" butt. Jenn did not apologize for the team's comment.

Bill Pucko (RNews) made his weekly visit. Pucko blamed Jenn for the controversy, and added Yelena Isinbaeva took the high road when blasting Jenn in a press conference. Puck and I argued, most of the callers supported Billy.

Jimmy (Greece) called in to confirm that he has signed Doug Miller (former Rhino)  to his kickball team. Puck called Jimmy.......Jimmy Steinbrenner.
