Lebron James scored 30 points on 11 for 15 shooting to get into the NBA record books. King James became the first N.B.A. player to score 30 points and shoot at least 60 percent in six straight games. Something Michael Jordan never did. Jordan shot better than 70 percent in three straight games early in the 1990-91 season.

James has made 70 of his last 96 shots over the past six-plus games. According to the Heat, only Adrian Dantley and Moses Malone had done the 30-point, 60-percent streak in five straight outings before James joined the club.

James is playing on a different planet right now. He makes what he doing look so easy, in fact its scary. I am believer that we may be witnessing the greatest player ever to put on a pair of sneakers.

And finally, For all the NFL fans who want the Super Bowl to be played on Saturday instead of Sunday, your wish may be coming true - maybe. Next year's Super Bowl is scheduled to be played outdoors so the NFL is putting together a contingency plan just in case inclement weather hits Metlife Stadium and the New York/New Jersey area. Plan B is the possibility of delaying the Super Bowl until later in the week, as in mid-week, possibly Tuesday or Wednesday. My thoughts are play the game on Sunday as scheduled. This is what you sign up for when you decide to play the Super Bowl outdoords in a northern city,
