The biggest story to come from the Super Bowl so far has to do with deer antler spray. Sports Illustrated reporting that Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis used  products (specifically, deer-antler spray which contains an NFL banned substance called IGF-1).  Before Tuesday I had no idea dear-antler spray from New Zealand was a cure-all.

Lewis spent the day Wednesday denying the report while stating over and over that he has never failed a drug test. What we learned from Lance Armstrong that statemtent means nothing. The public is not going to buy their proclaimed innocense.

Some have said that Lewis should be suspended from the super bowl for using a banned substance to recover from a torn triceps.

The NFL is doing its best to ignore this story as the Super Bowl approaches. But does the public care? NFL players get a pass when it comes to taking ped's compared to MLB players. Baseball is about numbers and protecting those numbers. The NFL is about being a gladiator and the only number or numbers that count are the super bowl titles won by head coach and starting qb's.

And for the record if the deer antler spray could help my voice I would take it in a minute.
