A long time ago the Bills/Dolphins game use to mean something. It was a game that was circled immediately when the schedule was released in April.  Now the game is an afterthought.

The Bills have not swept the season series from Miami since 2007. Buffalo beat the Dolphins 19-14 back in November. At 6-8, Miami is still alive for the playoffs.  The Bills began the season with playoff hopes but are a lock to finish with a non-winning record for an eighth straight season. The Bills were 9-7 in 2004.

Is Chan Gailey coaching for his job that last two games? Is Ryan Fitzpatrick playing for his job? I can not imagine both will be back in 2013. My feeling is Gailey will return but not Fitz. The team needs to draft a quarterback in April and play him right away.  Gailey has only one divisional road win in three years, and only three AFC East wins overall.

Defensive coordinator Dave Wanstedt could also be coaching for his job as well.  Under Wanstedt the defense allowing 28.7 points per
game , tied for the most in the NFL.

The Bills can't play any worse than they did last Sunday against Seattle. Miami is still in the playoff hunt and so will beat the Bills. 16-14.

Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year
