Ryan Fitzpatrick who has struggled all season, could be playing his final three games as a member of the Buffalo Bills. It makes financial sensee for the Bills to cut him before the 2013 league year begins in March, since the club owes him a $3 million roster bonus on the second day of the new league year. His cap number will also go up from $6 million this season to $10.4 million or even higher from 2013-2015. My guess is the team will release Fitzptrick to use the bonus to help re-sign pending free agents Jarius Byrd and Andy Levitre.
Wednesday night the face of women's soccer Abby Wambach scored twice Wednesday night to become only the second soccer player to reach 150 international goals, and the United States beat China 4-0 in an exhibition game Wednesday night.
“I’m just really lucky,” said Wambach, who helped lead the U.S. women to a fourth Olympic gold medal at the London Games. “I’ve got really good players around me. They make me look good so often, so we’re having a blast.”
The Mercy grad only trails the great Mia Hamm's 158 international goals. If you were to carve a Mt Rushmore of Rochester Sports, the 32-year old Wambach would be among the four faces.
