Chants have begun to fire Chan Gailey with the team headed for a 13th consecutive season without a playoff berth. I actually was a supporter of Gailey until the last month or so. His inability to get C.J. Spiller the ball, his clock management and his conservative style of playing not to lose is baffling to me. I believe the team has regressed from a season ago. Ryan Fitzpatrick has not improved. G-M Buddy Nix stated this summer that it was playoffs or bust with regards to 2012. With a 5-8 record the season is a bust. However, I am still a believer in Nix, who has improved the roster considerably in the last three years.

Gailey appears lost or overwhelmed during games. His postgame comments are even more head scratching.  His play calling is stubborn and painful. The fact Spiller had 8 total touches versus the Rams is a crime and grounds for dismissal. I understand 2013 couldfeature the Bills sixth head coach since Marv Levy retired following the 1997 season, but I believe the people of Western, New York deserve better.
