On Sunday the Bills host St. Louis. At 5-7 Buffalo is  two games back of Pittsburgh for the second and final wild card spot in the AFC. The Steelers host the Chargers on Sunday. Buffalo is 2-4 over their last six games. Playoffs are an extreme long shot for the Bills, but finishing .500 is not.

Offensively, I am hopeful the Bills will run the football.  Buffalo ranks fourth in the NFL with 147.9 rushing yards per game, but 26th in passing at  (198.5). Buffalo is banged up along the offensive line, but they should still be persistent in running the ball with Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller.  Play to their strengh. If the Bills run the rock at least 35 times against the Rams they will win.

As for the Rams they are search of their first three-game winning streak in six seasons. St. Louis is the playoff hunt in the NFC with a record of 5-6-1. Sam Bradford and the offense is rarnked  28th in the NFL with 18.4 points per game.

Neither team is a juggernaut offensively. This will be a defensive battle. I like the Bills 17-13. The loser of this game can begin looking ahead to the draft in April.
