Facing a must win Sunday at Indy the Bills fizzled. Buffalo managed one touchdown and just 169 net passing yards in losing 20-13 to the Colts.
Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 17-of-33 passes.Frustrating to watching all season long, Fitz and the offense continue to struggle going 1-for-7 inside the redzone the last two games.
The Bills, who have dropped four of five, saw their slim playoff hopes come crashing down as well.
The Colts defense that was allowing 26 points a game, ranked 20th in the NFL against the pass and not to mention playing without its top two cornerbacks to injuries. Maybe thats way Chan Gailey called 37 pass plays and 21 rushes. Please explain to me why C.J. Spiller carried the football for only 14 times. He did rush for 107 yards
The Bills’ defense got three sacks from Mario Williams and held the Colts to 312 yards, 81 under their season average.
The Bills are a frustrating team to watch. Sunday's loss was even more frustrating considering what was at stake. At 4-7, the Bills season is over, which could also spell the end of the Gailey/Buddy Nix era.
