The good news on Monday came in the release that the Buffalo Bills/Miami Dolphins game is sold out for Thursday night. You can see the game on the NFL Network.
The team's final three home games are in jeopardy of not sellling out. More than 15,000 tickets each still remain for the Dec. 2 Jacksonville game and the Dec. 30 New York Jets matchup. More than 10,000 seats remain for the St. Louis game Dec. 9. Its very simple, unless the Bills start winning, those games are not selling.
Bills running back Fred Jackson has a concussion and will not play on Thursday night. Jackson was injured late in the 4th quarter of Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots.
In seven games this season, Jackson has rushed for 298 yards and three touchdowns. He has also hauled in 26 receptions for 183 yards and one td. Head Coach Chan Gailey has no choice but to get C.J. Spiller more touches this week with Jackson sidelined. Lets hope he does.
The Bills are 3-6, barely alive in the AFC playoff picture. A win Sunday vs New England or even a victory against Tennesssee a few weeks ago would of put the Bills in the thick of the second wild card race.m The combine record of Bills final seven opponents is 27-36-1, very manageable. Buffalo travels to Indy in two weeks.
Thursday's game is winnable. Pittsburgh and the Colts are leading in the wild card race with records of 6-3.
Pittsburgh's super bowl hopes rest with the injured right shoulder of Ben Roethlisberger. Big Ben went down early in the third quarter of Monday night's win over Kansas City.
