In his third season Bills Head Coach Chan Gailey has a record of 13-27. Only Kay Stephenson 10-26 and Hank Bullough 4-18 sported worse records over the last 40 years. Greg Williams went (17-31) and Dick Jauron was (24-33) in three in half years.
Since 2005, this is the 5th time that Bills have been under .500 at the midway point of the season.
A year ago at this point the Bills were 5-2, they signed Ryan Fitzpatrick to a six-year, $59 million contract, everything seem peachy. Since then, the Bills have gone 4-13, Fitzpatrick now resembles the likes of awful qb's of the Bills past such as JP Losman, Trent Edwards and Todd Collins. For the first time in his Bills tenure Gailey is getting as much criticism as Fitzpatrick because his lousy play-calling. I believe Ralph Wilson will not make a change at coach or G-M at seasons end. Buddy Nix and Gailey are going to given time to turn things around. They will go down as the duo that turned things around in Buffalo or doomed the franchise out of Western, New York. Lets remember the Houston Texans gave coach Gary Kubiak six years to get the team finally into the playoffs.
The Knicks are 3-0 for the first time in 13 years. Overall, the Knicks' defense has been refreshing to see so far. The chemistry seems perfect as well. Hard to believe but the Knicks appear to be the surprise team in the Eastern Conference.
