Jody Gage, Mr. Amerk himself, joined the John DiTullio Show Tuesday to talk about Sunday's upcoming Alumni game at Frontier Field.
Hear about event details and who he says will be in attendance on Sunday.
I don't think the NFL or the state of New Jersey wants anyone to go to the super bow and this why. First off you will not be allowed to tailgate at Super Bowl XLVIII at Met Life Stadium unless you stay inside your car. Thats right
You will be allowed to have food in your car and have drink in your car," game committee CEO Al Kelly said on Monday. "And provided you're in the boundaries of a single parking space, you'll be able to eat or drink right next to your car. However, you're not going to be able to take out a lounge chair, you're not going to be able to take out a grill, and you're not going to be able to take up more than one parking space. And it'll all be watched very carefully." You have to be kidding me.
Secondly, if your car doesn't have a parking pass you can not there is no you can get close to the Meadowlands. You can not take a taxi or limo to drop you off at the front gates. Moreover you can not even walk to the Super Bowl either.
You take public transportation, or a charter bus called the Fan Express, which will cost $51 and pick up and drop off passengers at nine locations around the region. For the record this is not new. This is what happens now the game has gone corporate beyond belief.
Just when you thought the NFL couldn't get anymore greedy. The price fans pay for tickets to the SB, Way to be fan friendly Jersey. No limos. No taxis. No tailgating. No fun.
Sunday's loss at Tampa Bay was embarrassing, disgusting and ugly. Its as if the the Bills were visited by the ghost of awful teams of Dick Jaron and Chan Gailey of the past.
The game seemed over after Bobby Rainey broke off an 80-yard td run after rookie linebacker Kiko Alonzo whiffed on Rainey.
Rookie quarterback EJ Manuel never looked comfortable throwing four picks and sacked seven times. Tampa's defense entered the game with only 24 sacks. As for the int's I will say two if not three was Manuel's fault.
The offense converted only 1-for-11 on third down. As for the running game, 22 carries for only 67 yards.
This was the not the Bucs defense of the 2002, their super bowl season. This is a Bucs team that had only three wins.
The Bills have lost seven of their last nine games after starting the season 2-2. There are three games left and finishing with a winning season or a .500 season is out of the question, but finishing 4-12 seems likely.
